National Parks Campgrounds
 Both Mount Revelstoke & Glacier
National Parks offer a variety
of camping opportunities, with
everything from convenient
drive-in frontcountry camping to
very remote backcountry camping.
Glacier National Park features 2
Frontcountry Campsites, with a
total of 80 drive-in sites
available.
Random Backcountry Camping is
permitted beyond five km from
pavement in either of our
National Parks.
 There are also special camping
areas at some of the alpine
lakes, where tent pads & food
poles are available for your
use.
Our National Parks have
Backcountry Huts & Cabins
available on a first-come,
first-served basis, at various
costs per person per night.
Access to these huts is not only
arduous, but in some cases, will
require mountaineering
expertise. Reservations are not
mandatory but, highly
recommended. |
